Dear All

I want to thank everyone who was prepared to put their trust in me and the labour party by voting for me on 6th May.

It was very humbling to see 1000's of votes with marks my name on at the count

This was the first time I stood for election as an MP and I've learnt so much, and I will definitely take this forward in the future

It was a pleasure meeting the 100s and 100s of people either out on the streets or at husting meetings, and will be happy to provide help and advice though either your MP Ed Vaizey (who I offer my congratulations and has my contact details), or through any of the Wantage labour group.

I do have to thank all the volunteers who helped with the campaign and especially my agent Peter Gill, who worked tirelessly throughout the whole process, picking me up and taking me back to Didcot station as unfortunately I had to work (day job in London) through the whole period, keeping me fed and watered and most important the emotional support, guidance and encouragement
